Welcome to Parents4teachers.org. This site is dedicated to Education Reform! This week particularly in PBC with the school board meeting we have heard about the graduation rates of minorities... and the impact on society as a whole, as well as the impact on NCLB and AYP. The graduation rates are staggaringly dissapointing, and we as a national community need to fix that issue with focused and root cause based solutions rather than broad spectrum approaches that miss the mark for all children. I will be posting a lot of the statistics nationally and locally regarding graduation rates and I invite you to please visit the parent forum and post solutions and ideas. Meetings with EBC, PTA, SAC and CTA reps are scheduled for this week as well as TINT admins meeting as a parent group with Dr. Johnson and parents4teachers.org's solutions group meetings. Hello and welcome to the beginning. Everything has a beginning, but it's not always a literal one. This site is in the process of being relaunched nationally, but it's going to take some time to fully complete. In the meantime it will be kept fully functional for the purpose it originally served... fighting the changes implemented in Palm Beach County School district by Dr. Art Johnson and Mr. Jeffrey Hernandez. This site will also focus on the state and national level fighting No Child Left Behind. |
